7+ Cute St. Patrick’s Day Ideas for Kids

Sharing is caring!

I’m almost 0% Irish (and my kids are even less), but St. Patrick’s Day is still a fun day to celebrate. We wear green, eat corned beef and cabbage, and look for leprechauns (we still haven’t found one, but that hasn’t stopped us!).

Want to do something fun with your kids this St. Patrick’s Day? These are some of my favorite St. Patrick’s Day ideas to celebrate with kids from around the web.

Want to do a fun scavenger hunt with your kids? Sign up (or download a copy in the Resource Library if you’re already a subscriber) and print this free “Leprechaun Letter.” Then, hide gold coins (either real $1 coins or these candy coins) and see how many your kids can find.

Coloring is another fun activity for your kids. It’s a great stress reliever, too, especially if your kids have been eating too much chocolate!

I love these St. Patrick’s Day printable coloring sheets. They’re fun for you and your kids! 😉

This popcorn recipe would be so much fun to eat as a treat while watching leprechaun movies with the kids!

Here are some cute St. Patrick’s Day movies to watch on Amazon (some of these movies are free on Amazon Prime, or you can rent them if you don’t have an Amazon Prime account).

Another great activity is reading a St. Patty’s Day book together. Learn about the history of St. Patrick’s Day or just have fun reading about leprechauns, rainbows, and pots of gold!

These are some of my favorites:

These crafts for toddlers and preschoolers are adorable:

Make these special rainbow treats either while your kids are sleeping as a gift from the leprechaun or with your kids as an afternoon snack.

What fun St. Patrick’s Day activities will you do this year?
