– Next, look at your flat surfaces. Get rid of anything that doesn’t belong or that doesn’t serve a necessary purpose.

– Finally, think about what you want to keep in your home – this will be different for everyone! For example, if you have children, make sure they have a few stimulating, age-appropriate toys but set limits so that you don’t end up with piles of stuff.
